Moving day and the move was smooth as usual. We are getting faster at tear-down and setup with the new camper.
Nicole and the Kiddos showed up around 1500. The Kiddos will be spending the night.
Bri arrived around 1630. We had a nice dinner of smoked turkey thanks to Bri.
After dinner we had a great fire. Nicole was very happy as she has been freezing all afternoon.
And of course Wes got his marshmallows while the rest of us had our smores.
Bri and Nicole left around 1900, the Kiddos got to watch a show, and we were all in bed by 2100.

Winter Excursion 2, Day 47
Ran some errands this morning and searched for the elusive wreath cookie cutter with no luck. Back at camp we started to pack up a little as tomorrow is moving day.
We have lots of wood to use up, but what is left is going to our neighbor along with the fire pit. We will get it back when we move back to Foster Creek.
Here's Kaylee with her "I don't want to move" look. And here's Cath's last bottle of wine at this campsite. Actually it's a new app for the Pixels that adds animation to your pics and flicks.
Crab cakes for dinner, a little time by the fire, then off to bed.

Winter Excursion 2, Day 46
Stopped at the commissary on our way to the Kids and picked up all the baking supplies for Christmas cookies.
Cath did laundry and started on the cookies. Nicole made a yummy salad for lunch. I did some projects around the house (including dinosaur repair) and helped wash Nicole's car.
Kennedy got home around three and was showing off her new dress.
Cutie!
Nicole made another yummy meal of chicken and cashews for dinner. As you can see the Kiddos were acting like nuts at the table.
Nicole had her last tennis match so we commenced BSing duties. Bri got home around 2000, we yakked for a little while then Cath and I headed home.

Winter Excursion 2, Day 45
Off to Wesley's Christmas pageant this morning.
Here's Wes walking up the isle with the rest of his class. Notice the tongue sticking out, that be Wes!
Here he is with his whole class.
I had a birds eye view of him the entire pageant. All the Kiddos did really well.
After the pageant we went to their classroom. The kids had a pizza lunch and the teacher read a Christmas story to them. I noticed this list on the wall and just had to have a pic.
I think it's really blog worthy!
We spent the afternoon at Nicole's. She did a few errands, Cath and Wes watched a few shows, and I did some detailing on the truck.
Back at camp Cath and I relaxed for an hour then got dressed up to attend a concert by John Doyle at Yeaman's Hall with Bri and Nicole. This artist is an Irish Folk singer and he was really good. Sang a few songs and told a few stories.
After the concert the four of us went to Old North Charleston for a late dinner. We ate at a Vietnamese Restaurant named Lotus. The food was good and so was the wine.
We got back to camp around 1030 and went straight to bed. It was a good day.

Winter Excursion 2, Day 44
Day 44 was another relaxing day.
Ran over to Camping World with our neighbor Kevin, then showed him where Evo Pizza is in Old North Charleston.
Stopped at the commissary and picked up some ribs for dinner and a few other things.
Spent the afternoon reading while Cath was getting her Christmas Cookie baking needs in order.
3-2-1 ribs for dinner with beans and cornbread. Kevin is coming over.
A few hours by the fire then off to bed.
Not sure how much more of this camping life we can take.

Winter Excursion 2, Day 43
Up this morning and took our time getting started. No Kiddos so we slept in a little bit. Did a few errands this morning and washed the truck. The inside was particularly bad between the dog and the Kiddos, but it's worth it.
We spent the afternoon yakking with the neighbors and doing a few camp chores.
Kevin came over in the evening and we sat by the fire for awhile.
Bri spent the day with the family and they got the tree all done. It looks great and I'm sure the Kiddos love it!
Surf and Turf for dinner, a little Monday Night Football, and then off to bed.

Winter Excursion 2, Day 42
The Kiddos decided that 0500 was the best time in the morning to get up. Cath & I disagreed, but we lost the argument. We had a nice breakfast with the Kiddos, then did some arts and crafts, played with some paper airplanes, and watched a little TV. We had lunch and the Kiddos grabbed a short nap. Then we all headed to Bri & Nicole's and then went to the Mt. Pleasant Christmas Parade.
It started with a nice fireworks display.
There were lots of people there and a traffic jam to go with it.
Notice Kennedy holding her ears; she likes the fireworks, but not the noise.
Here's Kennedy and her friend watching the parade.
And here's Wes all bundled up.
The rain finally stopped last night, but the temps are in the 30s and 40s. Not exactly SC weather.
Cath and I headed back to camp after the parade. Watched a little SNF and went to bed. I think we will sleep good tonight, BSing takes it's toll....LOL.
