Winter Excursion 3, Day 38

We left camp around 1100 and headed to the kids. Had a nice lunch at Saltwater Cowboys on Shem Creek. Nice place, good food, and a dynamite view of the harbor.

Back at the Kids we played with Wesley and Kennedy for awhile and then headed back to camp. Kevin came over and we yakked for awhile. Brian stopped by after work with some much needed fatwood. Hit the sack early. It's supposed to get below freezing tonight!

Winter Excursion 3, Day 37

After a great night's sleep, we spent the morning around camp.
We went over to Camping World and then ran a few other errands.
Had lunch at Wild Wings with Kevin. We meet him here last year. He is from Upstate NY and visited us at the house in October.

Buck Hall will be closed to at least Feb 19, and we were able to extend here at Foster Creek. We will be here until 7 Jan 19.
Burned a few steaks and had a nice campfire this evening. A little TV then off to bed.

Winter Excursion 3, Day 36

Left the kids house this morning after a fun filled four days.
Back at camp the place is a swamp again from all the rain this past weekend.
Our friend Kevin is camped next to us. He arrived yesterday.
Cath and I did some quick shopping at Wally World and afterward I did a little fishing. Didn't catch anything, I think all the rain has affected the fishing.
Kevin's friend Craig stopped by in the afternoon and we had a few beers at the picnic table. Cath made a nice dinner for us and we yakked until 2030.
Bed will fell really good tonight. I'm sure we will sleep great!

Winter Excursion 3, Day 35

As has been the norm on this years trip the rain started around 0400 this morning. The thunderstorms and steady, hard, rain lasted almost all day.
We had plans to go to one of the CHristmas Festivals with the Kiddos, but got rained out.
The day was full of games, arts & crafts, wrestling, and just plain crazy stuff! We had FUN!
This is Kennedy's hairdoo after her bath (more like swimming). looks like the wicked witch of the southeast...LOL.

After a little wrestling with Wes she lost another tooth. Here's she is as "Double Snag".

Pizza (kiddos favorite) for dinner, some NFL football, a lot of wine,and then Mom & Dad made it home around 2330.
We've had a wonderful 4 days with the Kiddos. Wouldn't trade it for the world!

Winter Excursion 3, Day 34

Wesley came in the bedroom at 0600 and Kennedy arrived around 0700. Everyone had a fun time.
Next the Kiddos found Whoopsie. She was sitting on the fridge supervising the new "countdown to Christmas" pictures.

Kiddos ate their chocolate first thing!

Pancakes and sausage for breakfast, then we were off to the camper. We had hoped to go to the Isle of Palms Christmas festival, but it rained hard all afternoon. At the camper the Kiddos drew some new pics on our chalk board and we all played Yahtzee.

Back at the house it was still artsy time. Here's Kennedy's drawing of the house with all it's Christmas lights. She copied this from a pic on my phone.

Before dinner it was hair doo time! Here's the result.

Home alone 2 after a spaghetti dinner, then off to bed. I know why we have kids while we are young....LOL.

Winter Excursion 3, Day 33

Whoopsie arrived last night! She left the Kiddos some new PJs to wear during Christmas time. Whoopsie is the elf in the middle of the pic.

Salmon for dinner. The Kiddos ate really good. Then we watched Home Alone. The Kiddos loved it and we all laughed ourselves silly. Home Alone 2 tomorrow!

Winter Excursion 3, Day 32

We got the camper all closed up and headed to the kids for Babysitting duties for the weekend. Brian and Nicole are attending a wedding in Florida.
Nicole and I picked up some last minute supplies.
Played with the kids most of the afternoon, had dinner, and Nicole left for a tennis match.
Brian got home from work had a bite to eat. We all had a few toddies and the Kids got packed up. Flight is at 0730, it will be a very early morning for everyone.
