FROG Rally, Chenango Valley SP, NY Day 12

It rained cats and dogs last night. I was glad I got most of our outside stuff put away. The stuff I didn't put away was soaked this morning. I'll have to dry it when we get home.
The drive was uneventful (that's good). We got home around 1300 and had the camper unloaded by 1500.
We are already looking forward to next year's Rally.
Next blog post will be 25 Aug from Eel Weir State Park in New York.

FROG Rally, Chenango Valley SP, NY Day 11

We spent the morning helping friends pack up to leave and then saying our goodbyes. By 1100 the campground was almost empty. There is only three of us left here from the rally.
I packed up our stuff during the morning and was glad I did. Late afternoon we got some heavy thunderstorms. Everything would have been soaked.
We went over to the golf course in the afternoon and picked up some new Chenango Valley State Park t-shirts.
Off to bed early as we are leaving for home tomorrow. We will be happy to see Kaylee, we've been missing her!

FROG Rally, Chenango Valley SP, NY Day 10

We had the farewell potluck breakfast this morning at 0830. I think everyone is a little tired from the past few days. We've all been having a really good time.
After breakfast everyone helped our hosts take everything apart and get backed up, they had to leave today.
Some of our friends spent most of the day relaxing at our site and saying goodbye to all the folks leaving today.
Late afternoon we left camp with our friends and headed to "Fat Cowboy's Hitching Post" and had a really good buffet. We will go to this place again next year!
Back at camp we spent the evening by the campfire and hit the sack at 2100. It's been a fun (tiring) few days.

FROG Rally, Chenango Valley SP, NY Day 9

Today we lust hung out at the camper with a bunch of our friends. Yakked and told a lot of stories. A good time was had by all.
After the camper crawl we had the last potluck dinner. As usual I stuffed myself again. I sure a diet is on the agenda as soon as we get home.
By 2100 we were back at the camper. Sleep will come fast tonight.
One more potluck breakfast then many of the FROGs will be leaving. We are hanging out for two more days. We will need those days to just relax!

FROG Rally, Chenango Valley SP, NY Day 8

The day started out with a super pancake & sausage breakfast provided by our Rally Host and Hostess. After we hung around camp and yakked with some of the other Frogs. I did help a fellow FROG install a new converter in their camper. It only took about 30 minutes.
We had a few brief, but intense thundershowers in the afternoon, but it all cleared up before the potluck dinner.
The potluck dinner was great, lots of yummy food and lots of talking (yakking) with everyone.
After dinner we just relaxed a camp. It's been another long, fun day!

FROG Rally, Chenango Valley SP, NY Day 7

Hung out around camp this morning and watched some of the other FROGS arriving for the rally. We drove over to Candyland with our neighbors )they had never been there). There is every kind of candy you can think of and many from our childhood. They also have candles in a hundred different scents. A good time was had by all.
In the afternoon we headed to the Beer Tree (Craft Brewery) for a few toddies. We had a fun afternoon, especially Jean (purple shirt). Here's a selfie.
I couldn't get Bob into the selfie, so here he is!
Back at camp we had dinner and then walked down to the evening gathering (first event for the rally). I think most everyone was there.

The party broke up just before quiet hours (2200). We got back to camp and hit the sack!

FROG Rally, Chenango Valley SP, NY Day 6

The fishing this morning was much better. Here's the morning's catch. They are now all cleaned up and in the freezer.

We spent the entire day (and evening) yakking with all of our FROG friends. There was some ABs also involved! Spent the evening at our site with our neighbors and had our first campfire. We were up until after 2200, so no fishing tomorrow. I think I'll just sleep in a little!
