Winter Excursion 9, Day 37

This morning we drove to Wesley's All Star Football Game. The game started at 1100 and it was defiantly a little chilly. Here's the whole gang including the Corgis!
Wesley is #24 standing next to the coach.
They lost the game, but it was still fun to watch.
After the game Cath and I headed to the Goose Creek Verizon store to pickup our new phones. We got the new Pixel 9s. We spent the rest of the afternoon playing with them and getting them all set up. So far we are super happy with them.

Winter Excursion 9, Day 36

After breakfast we went to the commissary to do the shopping for the Christmas Cookies ingredients for this year. Cath plans on making 10 different cookies this year. Each batch will be 2 or 3 dozen each. That's a lot of cookies, but they usually get eaten each year before New Year's Eve. I'll be posting pics as they get made.
We went to the Kid's house with all the ingredients and unloaded the truck.
I spent the afternoon repairing, shoring-up, and re-vamping the "Christmas Corgi House" I'll post pics after Brian touches up the paint, gets the lights installed, and erects it in the front yard along with all the other Christmas decorations.
Back at camp we prepared the camper for another 22 degree night. And I thought we were in the South!

Winter Excursion 9, Day 35

We hung out at camp this morning. The wind has been something else. It blows the camp rug all over the place and shakes the camper when it gusts. Needless to say the awning hasn't been out for a few days.
We did a little food shopping in the afternoon and then settled in the camper for a nice dinner and another cold night.
My cold, flu, crude, or whatever is better, but still hanging on.
All is well in the Boss Camp!

Winter Excursion 9, Day 34

We left camp around 1100 to do a little shopping and pick up some propane. The nights here have been in the 20s, so the heater runs a lot. The electric fireplace helps, but we still go through propane!
We ended up at the Kid's house and stayed until the Kiddos got home. Played some cards with Wesley (UNO No Mercy). He lives to play a +10 card, it makes his day. LOL.
We stayed a little too long and fought traffic the whole way back to camp. I'll try not to do that again.
I'm feeling better every day and Cath seems to have not caught whatever it was I had.
Had a very clear night at the campground and I got a good shot of the moon.

Winter Excursion 9, Day 33

I'm feeling a little better, but still not 100%
We did some camp maintenance this morning and then drove over to the Kid's. Wesley got home around 1500 and Kennedy arrived around 1630. Nicole made a nice dinner for us, but had to work a little late.
After dinner we all packed up and headed to the basketball game. It was a good game, but our team lost after leading almost the entire game. Here's a pic. Wesley is circled in red, just zoom in.
After the game Cath and I drove back to camp. Forecast tonight is for temps in the low 20s!

Winter Excursion 9, Day 32

Just a little better today. At least I'm going in the right direction.
We played some cards and took a short walk.
We're looking forward to getting back to normal.
Got a kick out of the the amount of snow back home this past weekend. A town near us had 58.8 inches of snow! It's good to be in the south right now.

Winter Excursion 9, Day 31

I didn't feel much better today. We just hungout in the camper and I stayed on the Mucinex.
Cath is doing fine and is a really good nurse.
Not much to report as we didn't do much except watch football.
Hopefully this crap will pass soon, if not, it's time for the clinic and a shot!
