We all had a lazy morning. Weather was nice. The girls did a quick shopping trip to pickup some items that were forgotten. Jerry and I did some camp maintenance and got the canoe ready for fishing. Then we ran to the store for some fishing supplies.
Kabobs for dinner, and sat around the campfire yakking until a nasty thunderstorm came through. It only lasted a few minutes and the sky was really ugly.
We will hit the rack around 2100 and sleep like bears, it is really quiet here as there are only a few campers in the park. I'm sure it will fill up again for the weekend.
Hope to get some fishing in tomorrow. The locals say the walleye fishing has been good.

Summer 2017 Camping - Last Trip With This Camper - Day 2
RAIN! RAIN! RAIN! It rained all day and finally cleared around 1530.
It was Memorial Day so we had hamburgers and hot-dogs for dinner. Carolyn made her famous potato salad and it was yum! We were supposed to have cherry pie for desert, but tragedy struck. We did the pie on the egg and the crust started to burn. When I took it off it was getting hot through my mitts, so I put it on the wet ground. Low and behold the pie dish exploded. Needless to say, no pie for desert.
We played some cribbage and later dominoes with Jerry & Carolyn. The sun finally came out and we had another beautiful sunset.
And the mandatory campfire in the evening.
Off to bed. I hope to get some fishing in tomorrow.

Summer 2017 Camping - Last Trip With This Camper - Day 1
The name of the Park is Jacques Cartier State Park .
Here are a few pics of our campsite looking up from the river. It's not far from home, maybe 100 miles. It is on the St Lawrence Seaway. Really nice place.
We are here for 10 days with Jerry & Carolyn.
View from the campsite.Nice sunset.
