Eel Weir SP, NY Day 5

After another good breakfast Jerry and I headed out to get some more slab wood. We filled both sites and I think we have enough for the rest of the stay.

After we got back the girls went to the store to get more food (like we needed more!).

We spent the afternoon playing bones (dominoes).

After dinner it was campfire time once again. By 2100 we were all in bed.

It's been another nice day!

Eel Weir SP, NY Day 4

We must be having a good time as the days are flying past. Way to much eating and drinking..LOL!

So the girls decided they wanted to ride the Ebike. Carolyn could not get her leg high enough to get on the bike. Cath was able to get her leg over, but could not touch the ground when seated so she fell over with the bike on top of her. Wish I had a pic, but the phones were not at hand! BTW: she is OK, no bruises.

We were sitting at our friends this afternoon and I noticed that their new BRINKLEY Fiver turns into RINKLEY when the front door is open. I must have way to much time on my hands.

We spent the late afternoon playing UNO Flip. Here's a pic of the girls.

After a good dinner and a nice evening by the campfire we headed across the street to our camper. Got this pic of an almost full moon on the way.

Eel Weir SP, NY Day 3

The weather continues to be perfect, just wish we'd get a little more of a breeze to keep the mosquitos at bay.

The girls decided they needed some Jiffy Pop, so Jerry and I looked for some in the closest grocery store.

I guess they weren't the only girls needing a Jiffy Pop fix!

We had another great meal and a nice evening by the fire. There may have also been some ABs involved!
 

Eel Weir SP, NY Day 2

After a great breakfast on the flattop Jerry and I headed to our favorite Amish sawmill about 5 miles from the park. These guys will sell you all the slab wood you can fit in a pickup for $5.

Weather was perfect today with a nice breeze. Here's Cath and Kaylee. Kaylee is enjoying herself as usual.

We hung out at our friends all afternoon. Did a little puzzling and a lot of yakking. It was their turn for dinner and then we sat by the fire until dark. We will all sleep good tonight.

Eel Weir SP, NY Day 1

We left home around noon and endured the arduous 65 mile drive to Eel Weir SP. We spent the afternoon getting all set up. Our friends Jerry & Carolyn are right next to us. We will all be here until Labor Day when the park closes for the winter.

After AB time we had a nice dinner and yakked until 2100. Then it was off to dream land.
