So even though we are still home tonight we are going to count this as Day 1 as we are in the camper.
We spent the day getting the house ready for us to be gone for 7 months.
Winterized the clothes washer and dish washer for the first time. We normally just set the house thermostat at 55 deg and let it rip! This year the price of fuel oil has us shutting the house all the way down. We estimated $5K in fuel oil to heat the house at 55 deg! Here's a few pics:
We leave the house around 1100 in the morning. As usually we are looking forward to our winter trip!
