Coles Creek Day 4

Packed up and were out of camp by 1030. The Kids and Kiddos headed to Watertown to meet friends, Cath and I headed home.
Another perfect weather day. We had the camper parked and emptied by 1500.
We had a great time camping and watching the Kiddos made our week. They will be leaving tomorrow and we will miss them, but we will see them again in Nov.
Tune into the blog on 1 Nov for our next adventure.

Coles Creek Day 3

The weather was perfect today, low 80s with a nice breeze.
Jerry, Carolyn, and Megan came up today and spent the afternoon with us. Chili dogs for lunch and lots of conversation.
I think the fishing was the hit of the whole trip for the Kiddos. They even learned to "worm" their own hook as Nicole would say!

BBQ chicken for dinner, one last campfire, then off to bed. We have to pack up and leave in the morning.

Coles Creek Day 2

Cath and I left camp around 0930 for her appointment in Lowville. We got back around 1500.
The campground had a quick gully washer while we were gone. Brian said the rain came down sideways!
The kayaking and fishing is still a hit.
The Kiddos loved the water.
The weather was a little nicer but still warm. Steaks for dinner and another evening by the campfire. And yes that included "smores".

Coles Creek Day 1

We arrived at Coles Creek State Park on the St Lawrence Seaway around 1400. Filled the camper with water and got it all set-up. The fishing started immediately!  The Kiddos had a blast and actually caught a pile of little ones.

Even with the campfire lit the fishing continued.

Pulled pork sandwiches for dinner and then a nice evening by the fire. The weather today was hot and humid, hopefully it breaks soon.
