We left the house around noon and did the 75 mile drive to Eel Weir State Park, NY. The drive was uneventful which is always good.
Here's a few pics of the site. It shady and has a great view of the river which is 50 ft away.
Here's a shot of the winos in front of Jerry and Carolyn's camper. They are just across from us right on the river.
Jerry and I drove about 6 miles to an Amish saw mill and asked if the sold their slab wood. The guy said yes and I was floored by the price. It is $5 for a pickup truck load!
No hookups here so we will be using the genny for a change. Genny hours are 9 - 11 AM and 5 - 9 PM. I did get new batteries this year so we should have plenty of power. The weather is wonderful, low humidity, with temps in the 70s and 50s at night.
All is well in the Boss Camp.
