Maiden Voyage Revisited Day 1

Our Maiden Voyage last year was a trip to Michigan to see Erich.  We had such a good time we decided to do it again, the Fall Festival at Holland State Park was really fun and it's a great campground.
Left home this morning at 0730 and drove to just past Erie Pa (about 375 miles).  We are spending two nights at a beautiful state park in Ohio called Geneva State Park. http://parks.ohiodnr.gov/geneva
We will explore the park and the Lake Erie shore here tomorrow and post some pics.
The drive today was nice.  We did a little Interstate, but did back roads for the most part. It adds some time to the trip, but we "get to see America".  If your interested we did Lowville to Adams Center (Rt 177); I-81 to Pulaski; Rt 104 to just short of Buffalo; I-90 to just past Erie, PA; then Rt 20 through PA and OH to our campground in Geneva, OH.  Arrived at the campground around 1700.  Cath got a pic of the road signs for Girard, PA.  This is where we picked up Rt 20.  You might have to zoom in a little.

We stopped at Ashtabula, OH to pick up some hot dog rolls for dinner, as we are having sloppy-joes for dinner and have chili dogs scheduled for later in the trip.  Stopped at a grocery store and Cath ran in while Kaylee and I waited in the truck.  Got to the campground and had the site set up in a few minutes.  I'd asked Cath to keep the food in the front seat, but she said we were only a few minutes from camp and Kaylee would be fine.  Needless to say we are having our sloppy-joes on bread and will need new buns for the chili dogs as Kaylee devoured all 8 hot dog buns. And by the way we didn't realize this before she got her dinner.  I'm sure she is stuffed! Hopefully she won't puke tonight, time will tell.
