Family Reunion Trip, Day 11

Grandma made some yummy waffles and bacon for breakfast. We cleaned up camp and then headed out to explore Blue Mounds SP, but first we had to do laundry.
Here's a pic of Jacob and Grandma walking the trail around the prairie, we are looking for Buffalo.

While on this walk Kaylee went on point and then flushed a hen pheasant off her nest. Jacob got to see her eggs.

Here's a view of the prairie, we could see for miles!

This is Jacob near Eagle Rock on the south side of the park.

And finally we got to see the buffalo. They were right behind the park office.

We also explored Touch the Sky Prairie. Not much to see there, it was a mud hole, but we could see for miles from this vantage point.
