Winter Excursion 4, Day 110

We got up this morning around 0700, ate a little breakfast and then headed south to the Tuskegee Airmen National Historic Site.
Here's Jacob and Kaylee next to the bust of Robert Moton, whom the airfield is named after.
We spent about two hours at the airfield touring the hangers, had a quick lunch and then drove into Tuskegee to the National Historic Site at the University.
We parked at the Booker T Washington Home (The Oaks) and then walked over to the George Washington Carver Museum. Interesting places and the college campus is old, but beautiful. And yep, we got all of our passports stamped!
Took the backroads on the way home and stopped at Ray and Melinda's on the way. They have a really nice house and we enjoyed visiting them. We all had pizza for dinner and then we headed back to camp.
It's been a long, but fun day.
