We arrived at Eel Weir State Park around 1330. Here's a pic of the site. No hookups here, but there is water not too far away. You can't tell by the pic, but that is our new awning. The old one finally gave up after five years of camping.
After we got set up we drove to the local Amish sawmill and picked up some slab wood. Their price is $5.00 for all you can fit in your truck! We only got enough for two nights. Jerry and I will get a truck load on Monday. He and Carolyn will arrive tomorrow. Here's a good pic of Cath and Kaylee.
And this is our new acquisition for the camper. It's a Blackstone 17" griddle. It runs off the camper propane. We will let everyone know how it works tomorrow for breakfast. All we did to it today was season the griddle. That took about two hours, but it's just like a cast iron skillet now.
The weather was perfect today, sunny with highs in the low 70s.
