It was a nice cool morning, but by 1200 it was pushing the mid 80s. Spring in Georgia is more like mid August at home!
As I was cleaning one of the sites this morning I got this pic of a blue/black butterfly. It just hung out at the site in some of the sunny spots. A few hours later it was still there!
At the same site I got a good shot of some of the cypress knees as the lake is low.We spent the afternoon relaxing at our site as the temps climbed into the 90s.Towards early evening we started heating up some cooking oil on the flattop to deep fry some of the fish our friend had given us. We were just about ready to start frying when one of the neighbor campers came over with fried fish, fries, beans, and fritters.
So we put our fish back in the fridge until tomorrow. We reciprocated with a few jugs of maple syrup. It was a fun day as host. Only had a few campers leave and just three arriving. The campers we have now are really nice folks. We enjoy talking with all of them.
