Winter Excursion 8, Day 111 The Life of a Camp Host

We left camp this morning around 1000 and made a Costco run. We were getting low on snacks. Peanuts, cashews, pumpkin seeds, Irish Cream, Gyro meat, and dried fruits were all on the list.

Back at camp we sat outside and enjoyed the weather. Kaylee got a short walk.

I forgot to post an incident that happened yesterday.  Our bird feeder is a tube with two holes near the bottom where the birds can get their treat.

I noticed yesterday that the feeder was almost empty and went out back to fill it. I found that there was a bird with its head stuck in one of the holes. I figured it was dead, but when I took it out it looked up at me, said thanks, and flew away. I doubt if that bird will be using the feeder any more! I guess this will serve as the find of the day.
