Winter Excursion 9, Day 83 The Life of a Camp Host

The park did not open until 1100. We checked all the faucets again this morning as temps were in the teens again last night.
We did have a few campers leave and four new ones arrived. I advised all of the new arrivals about dripping the faucets. They told me they had heated hoses. My response was your heated hose will not heat the faucet! I hope they comply with my request.
Most of the snow is gone and our dump valves thawed in the afternoon. Temps climbed into the high 30s.
One of the new arrivals complained about dog poop on their site. I was baffled as I had just cleaned that site this morning. I asked them to show me the poop and they pointed it out. It was not dog poop it was goose poop! We have a tame goose around the park that likes to see it's own self in the chrome on hub caps and bumpers. For the past few days this goose had been hanging around the area near the site these folks had occupied. I raked the entire site and they were happy!
I did not have a find of the day, but the sunset we had this evening certainly qualifies. Here's the view of it from our campsite.
We are off for the next four days. We will see what adventures we find!
