Winter Excursion 11, Day 6

We slept late again (sucks to be retired) and then had a nice breakfast.
We left camp around 1030 and headed to Colonel Denning State Park. It was only about 30 miles away, but I could not remember visiting when I was a kid in this area. Anyway we did the short drive and got to see the park.
It is a nice, small park with a nice trout pond. The campground is very small and hilly. Not suitable for our current camper. If you are a tenter or a pop-up-er, it's perfect.
On the ay back to camp we stopped at the Dutch Country Store. I had to have my Pennsylvania pickled egg/beet fix.
Cath picked up some black strap molasses. She says it will be used for ginger bread. I can't wait!
Back at camp it was campfire time again.
I forgot to post yesterday that we scored some cute butterflies from the elephant joint. They have magnets in them and now hang from our over-island lights.
It's been a fun time here. More to follow!
