Winter Excursion 2, Day 63

New Year's Eve!

We got over to the kids around noon. Had a nice lunch and then took all the Christmas lights down and packed away. Bri and I ran to Lowes for some door knobs to complete the knob replacement project. I picked up some fireworks for the celebration tonight, Wesley wanted  only blue fireworks, Kennedy wanted only pink. The guy at the fireworks stand thought I was nuts when I relayed this request. Bri left for work around 1700.

We went to the neighbors for an oyster roast and then back at the house for some peel n' eat shrimp.

The Kiddos were wore out and hit the sack around 2100.

They sleep through anything! Notice the thumb....LOL

Bri got home just before midnight, we all had a New Years toast, watched the ball drop, and then Nicole and I headed to our rooms for some sleep. Cath & Bri stayed up till 0230, they paid the price the next day.
