Left the Kid's this morning about 1000 and headed back to camp. When we arrived and opened the door we got our first surprise.....Kaylee's water bowl was frozen! Then came the second surprise...the thermometer said it was 28 deg in the camper! We had been gone from camp for two nights (3 days) and the propane tank was just filled last week. However, with the cold temps we've been having the propane ran out and the camper got cold. Needless to say water lines were frozen. I switched over to the other propane tank and maxed out all the heaters; fireplace, propane heater, and the heat strip on the AC in zone 2. It took about an hour, but everything finally thawed out and we had no damage. Even the water valve on the pedestal was frozen. It finally thawed also when the sun hit it. The heated hose was not frozen.
After all this excitement we went to the store for a few supplies as the Kids and Kiddos are coming over for dinner. Cath made yummy spaghetti.
Here's the Kiddos in the background at their dinner table.
A little horse play after dinner with Grandma.
They all left around 1830. Cath and I watched a movie and then hit the rack. We will sleep good after the holiday weekend and all the excitement.
