Cath & I do these Winter Excursions to not only see our Grandchildren, but to get out of the snow. We've been dealing with freezing temps here in Charleston and today we get to deal with snow. It started with freezing rain and then around 1100 it turned to snow.

This pic is in the evening after the snow had stopped.
And one last pic looking the other way.
Temps are supposed to remain below freezing for the next three days. They have no plows in this area. Many of the roads and bridges are closed. Schools, government, and many businesses are closed and will be for the next few days. The last time they had this much snow was in 1989. They had a small storm in 2008, but this weather is very unusual for this area. Cath and I just feel lucky to be able to see it (NOT!).ðŸ˜
Spent the day in the camper watching TV, reading, cooking, and playing cribbage.
Cool! A little added excitement, and it makes the camper feel more "homey". Melinda would say cozy for more cuddly!
