This past week at home we have been loading up the camper and getting the house ready for us to be gone. The weather has been OK until late yesterday and last night. We had tons of rain starting at about 1500 yesterday and then the winds started. We had over two inches of rain and winds around 30 mph with gusts up to 60 mph. Woke up this morning to snow!
We really took our time getting all the last minute stuff done waiting for the weather to break. We finally got on the road around 1100, but the winds were still 10 - 30 mph, to say the least it was a fun drive. Good thing it was only about 150 miles.
We are Schodack State Park near Albany, NY. Nice park, not crowded at all. Got all set up, camper is doing great. Here's a few pics of the site.
The weather turned nice once we got about 20 miles from Albany, NY, but the winds were still kicking. They are forecast to die down tonight.
