Winter Excursion 5, Day 158

We drove to Corbin, KY today. The drive was nice and we saw some interesting country.
Corbin, KY is the birthplace of Harland Sanders, better know as Colonel Sanders of Kentucky Fried Chicken.
The cafĂ© and museum are closed do to COVID, but the KFC drive through was open.
We ordered our KFC lunches, snapped a few pics, and then headed to Sanders Park in the old downtown.

We ate our lunch on this picnic table and admired the mural. Cath and I both agreed it was the best KFC we've ever had!
Got our pic with the Colonel.
And a couple of pics of the old train depot right across the street from the Sanders Park.

It was a fun time in Corbin.
Back at camp we enjoyed the weather, sunny and 80s, sat outside, and did some people watching. And yes a few toddies also!
