Winter Excursion 8, Day 151 The Life of a Camp Host

Happy Easter!
The entire campground was awakened at 0650 by a barking dog! The dog barked continuously for over an hour and a half! It was the same dog that caused all the ruckus two days ago on Site #6, but this time it was chained up outside Site #8. We tried calling the campers but they were nowhere to be found. Finally the folks from Site #6 came back and we had a short discussion about this dog. Seems they didn't want to leave it in the camper while they were in church with all the folks in Sites 5,6,7,8,9,and 10 because the dog would tear up the camper! During all of this we received many, many complaints!
For the past few weeks we (the hosts) have noticed a SUV come into camp, park at the bathhouse, use the facilities and leave. It usually happens early in the morning. The camp manager told us to try to get the license plate number. Since I was out and about at 0700 due to the dog I watched the vehicle come into the campground and went over to the bathhouse to confront the owner. She was not happy and probably embarrassed that she had been caught. Seems she is in a campground down the road whose facilities are not as nice as ours and decided it was OK to use ours! I got her plate number and hopefully she does not return.
After an exciting morning we once again played "bathhouse police" in the afternoon. The crowd was a little smaller today, but just as upset with us for denying them the use of the campground bathhouse.
It was an Easter weekend to remember!
We had a really nice prime rib dinner with Jerry and Carolyn at our camper in the evening.
The find of the day was these Easter Eggs.
At least the Bunny was nice to us!
