Winter Excursion 8, Day 154 The Life of a Camp Host

The rain started last night around 0400 just after our NOAA radio siren went off to inform us we were under a tornado watch. The tornados never happed, but all across the south there were plenty of them. The campground looked like a lake this morning, cleaning sites was almost impossible. By afternoon it had dried out due to the winds. We cleaned up as best we could.
I hit the hay last night around 2000 as I had been up since 0400. Around 2100 Cath woke me up as a couple was looking for a campsite and of course the office was closed since 1700. I got dressed and took them over to site #2. About the same time another camper showed up and headed to their site, but they wanted some firewood. This was at 2130! It was a long day for the Camp Host!
The find of the day was more fishing tackle due to the flooded campground.
It now lives in my tackle box.
