Today started out wonderful as we woke to the Kiddos again. Bri and Nicole spent the night in the tent and did well, no one froze. Bri was a little rough around the edges this morning, but managed to survive. We all had a quick breakfast, cleaned up camp, and headed to the kids house. Got the Kiddos settled in with the babysitter and the adults headed to the Boone Hall Plantation Wine Under the Oaks Festival. We had a great time, free wine, food, and lots of people. It was a very festive atmosphere. Here's a few pics:
The crowd.
Plenty of wine tents. They give you a wine glass when you enter the fest and the wine tasting is free. There was probably 50 - 60 wine vendors there. We "UBERed" there and back.
More festivities.Cath and Bri.
And of course Nicole had to do a selfie of us all.
This is the house on the plantation. The girls did a guided tour. Bri and I sat on a bench and drank wine.
Back at the house it was pizza night and Kennedy the "hairdresser" did everyone's "doo".
But it was a tough weekend for the Kiddos and Bri too.
Back at the camper, I'm sure we will both sleep very good tonight....it's QUIET!
