Winter Excursion 7, Day 182

We took a short drive to the other end of the park to check out the waterfall.  Chewacla Waterfall was worth the short walk (hike) from the parking lot. The trail was maybe 1/4 mile, but it was very steep and lots of loose rocks and dirt.

From there we drove to the nearest gas station and filled up the truck in preparation for our drive tomorrow to Tuscaloosa, AL and Deerlick COE Campground.

Back at camp we spent the afternoon reading and enjoying the weather. 

I noticed this dead tree behind our site. If this thing ever comes down it will crush a camper in this site.

Yep, that is part of our awning!
