We left Chewacla State Park at 1000. Set Gypsy (GPS) to avoid highways and headed to Deerlick COE Campground near Tuscaloosa, AL. Most of the drive was on US Rt 82, not a bad road, but there are lots of trucks and they are hauling butt!
Arrived at our new campground around 1400 and took our time setting up. Our site (#11) is really nice. Here a few pics.
The weather remains perfect (40s & 70s), but is forecast to change with thunderstorms and temps in the high 80s, YUK! Hopefully the "weather-guessers" in this area are just as bad (wrong) as the ones in Georgia.
