Winter Excursion 9, Day 134 The Life of a Camp Host

It was no where as busy as yesterday. We had a few campers leave and a handful arrive.

Cath is under the weather with some type of "Crud". She spent the day in the camper and is taking Mucinex. We will give her a day or two to get better and if not it's off to the Clinic.

The find of the day is this little guy.

I'm still searching for his white bead. Then he'll be red-white-and blue!

The bird of the day is this Common Grackle.

He and his buddy found our feeder and now then won't leave. He tends to be a bully to the smaller birds.

The severe weather in Texas and Mississippi is forecast to hit us tonight around 0300. We are keeping our fingers crossed it is not too bad.
