Winter Excursion 9, Day 144 The Life of a Camp Host

The Air Stream Rally campers all left today. We had 21 sites to clean, but I will say these 21 sites were the cleanest sites I've ever seen after they had been occupied for 5 days! The fire pits were not used, there was no trash anywhere, and the surfaces looked like they were just raked. We will be looking forward to having them back here next year!

The find of the day was this chunk of white metal from someone's kayak bow.

I imagine the kayak is floating somewhere out in the lake!

The bird of the day is a Purple Finch.

I'd never heard of one before. That red head really stands out.
