Winter Excursion 1, Day 2

Woke to a rainy day, had coffee early and then went with Manu to take Lucie to school.  It is nice to ride around and see the old stomping grounds, a lot has changed, the area has really grown since I grew up here.
Kristen has been sick all day and we wish her a speedy recovery.  She seemed to be a little better this evening, but faded fast.  Bed is the best remedy.
Went to Jimmy Johns for lunch and it was everything Erich had said.  Cath and I split an Italian with the hot peppers.
Manu and I fixed his plow.  He had a blown hydraulic line.  Had the line made and also replaced the fitting.  I'm sure it will plow just fine this winter.
Cath made a batch of Chili for dinner, it turned out really well and she made some cornbread muffins to go with it.
Here's a pic of Kristen and Lucie, Play dough time!
And here's one of all the dogs.  Kaylee and the other three wore themselves out.
Off to Ft Story, VA tomorrow near Norfolk.  The drive should be nice, weather is going to cooperate as we are avoiding Washington, DC.
