Winter Excursion 3, Day 78

It was an easy drive today, less than 200 miles. We arrived at our new campground (George L. Smith State Park,Twin City, GA) at 1500. Got all set up.
Brought out the new propane fireplace and had a few toddies.
Kaylee was happy, but she misses the beach, but she did get a really good run.
We were really jazzed when we made the reservation for this place as we are right on the lake, however the lake is drained. They are doing maintenance on the dam, so there is no lake.
There is probably 50+ campsites here, but only 6 are occupied. One of these days I will be able to use the Kayak, but not here. It's really quiet here, I'm sure we will sleep like bears tonight,
Off to do some exploring tomorrow. Cath is making a nice dinner this evening. We have internet access, but no TV or SAT signal, but we have a lot of shows recorded. I think a good night's sleep will be better!
