Winter Excursion 3, Day 70

We left the camper at 0800 and headed to the Kids. Bri and Nicole had a nice breakfast for us. We cleaned up, got the dogs squared away, jumped in Nicole's Explorer, and headed to the Columbia, SC zoo. The car ride was a zoo also...LOL!

The main reason for going to the zoo was for Wesley to visit the Komodo Dragon. Here they are and here's the Dragon (actually there were two Dragons, but they were seperated). We had to stop back before we left to say goodbye.

Next was the climbing wall.

They both did really well!

We stopped for a quick bite for lunch at the zoo. Here's Kennedy with Grandma's shades.

And of course Wesley had to have Granddad's on.

Wes found this little Dino, it is bronze. He wanted it to be real.

From the zoo we all took a tram to the gardens. 

Really nice place, with a wonderful splash park for the summer.

After the zoo we took a ride through downtown. Here's the State Capital. Really Nice!

We all had dinner at Pawley's Front Porch. Good burgers and great beer.

Here's Wesley paying the bill. He gave the waitress a $1000.87 tip. She was thrilled.

We all headed back home. Kiddos have school tomorrow. Cath and I collected the Viszla and headed back to camp. We will sleep good. Moving day tomorrow.
