We left Cedar Bluff State Park, KS around 1000 and made the 260 mile trip to Lake McConaughy State Recreation Area, NE. It was a nice drive and not all of it was Interstate. We followed the North Platte River westward. We arrived around 1330 after gaining an hour. We are on Mountain time now. It was in the high 90s when we arrived!
Here's Site #53 at Lone Eagle Campground, NE. The shade is nice!
Here's our view across the campground road. This lake is huge and it even has a beach. Some folks were camping along the beach.
Looks like you two have gotten over the bug that invaded, enjoying the postings.
