Winter Excursion 3, Day 100

We left Lake Charles, LA in a dense fog. The fog stayed with us the entire ride today. Sometimes the visibility was only a few hundred yards. It did lift a little by Port Arthur, TX. Here's a few pics of the refineries. The place is huge!

The truck and camper are dirtier than we've ever seen. The roads were wet and often muddy from the fog and construction sites along the way.
We finally got to our campsite in Galveston Island State Park.  We don't know much about it yet as we can't see anything due to the fog. The campground is a swamp from the recent rains.

We are here for a week. Hopefully the weather improves.
