Winter Excursion 3, Day 102

This morning we were fogged in again. We left to do laundry around 1000 and were done by 1300. Then we left (in the fog) to do some grocery shopping. We drove up to the Galveston Island Kroger. Got our shopping finished and when we came back out to the parking lot the fog was gone and we got this view of the Gulf.

It rained like crazy on the way back to the camper. As the front passed the winds really picked up. The forecast was correct, we have 25 - 35 mph winds now, and the fog is gone. Temps have dropped into the 50s and will go lower tonight.
As the weather is now so nice (not), we played cribbage this afternoon and listened to the wind blow the slide toppers.
The plan tomorrow is to visit Big Thicket National Preserve and get another stamp in the passport.
