Got up this morning to a dense fog. We could hardly see across the campground. We took our time finishing packing and hooking up. By 0930 the fog had lifted enough that we could get one the road. The drive was easy. Once again all backroads. Only problem was the mud at any construction zone. The camper is dirty again!
We arrived at Corpus Christi Naval Air Station, TX around 1500. We got all set up and had a few toddies. Here's a few pics of the campground.
It's a really nice campground, dispersed sites and full hookups on large, level concrete pads..
Here's a few pics of Corpus Christi Bay from the campground.
The neighbors are all friendly, a few came over to say Hi!
The fog rolled back in this evening, but should be gone by morning. The forecast is for great weather the rest of the week.
We watched the Westminster Dog show and then went to bed. We will do some exploring tomorrow.
