Family Reunion Trip, Day 51

We spent the day driving around Barstow, Ft Irwin, and Silver Lakes, visiting all our old places. A lot has changed in this area. Barstow has really grown and so has Silver Lakes.

The road from Barstow to Ft Irwin has been completely redone and a lot of it is even 4 lane now! Ft Irwin itself has really grown. There is tons of new housing and the entire post has been refurbished.

Back at the campground we stopped at the commissary for a few supplies. We watched a little TV and had scallops for dinner.
